Veteran Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is celebrating her 59th birthday today, and on the special occasion, the makers of the upcoming crime-comedy series Maa Behen announced that the show will premiere on streaming platform Netflix on June 4.
The series features an ensemble cast including Triptii Dimri, Dharna Durga and Ravi Kishan in key roles. Supporting actors include Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh and Shardul Bhardwaj.
The story revolves around Rekha, a mother already struggling to manage multiple responsibilities, whose life takes a shocking turn when a dead body is discovered in her kitchen. Along with her two daughters — the responsible Jaya and the carefree Sushma — the trio finds themselves caught in a chaotic situation. They must think quickly, lie even faster, and somehow prevent their nosy neighbours from uncovering the truth.
Blending suspense with humour, the series promises a quirky family drama packed with unexpected twists and comic moments.
