Mohali Police have arrested three shooters allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in connection with the firing outside a property dealer’s house in Baltana, Zirakpur. The police solved the case within four days and recovered a sophisticated 9mm pistol, the Swift car allegedly used in the crime, and a mobile phone used to record a live video of the firing.

The case was cracked under the leadership of Inspector Pradeep Bajwa, following a coordinated operation by teams from the CIA Staff, Kharar, and the Mohali Operation Cell.

Mohali SSP Varun Sharma said that around 2:17 am on October 14, unidentified assailants travelling in a Swift car fired approximately eight rounds outside the house of Ram Kumar, a resident of Baltana who is involved in the property business.

Following the incident, Ram Kumar also reportedly received a threatening phone call from Arsh Pandit, allegedly in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding extortion money. A case was subsequently registered at the Zirakpur police station.

To crack the case, special teams were formed, which worked in coordination to identify and apprehend the suspects. The three arrested accused have been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi, 32, Manraj Singh alias Manna, 21, and Rajveer Singh, 18. All three are residents of Jalandhar district.

According to the police, Gurpreet Singh works as a driver, while Manraj Singh recently returned from Canada. Rajveer Singh is currently unemployed. Police said that none of the three accused has any previous criminal case registered against them.

Investigators are now probing the accused's alleged links with the gang, their individual roles in the firing, and the possible involvement of other people in the incident.
