As part of these initiatives, for the first time in Punjab, six Working Women Hostels will be constructed. This  was expressed today in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha by the cabinet minister Dr. Baljit Kaur, while responding to a question raised by MLA Kulwant Singh.

Dr. Baljit Kaur said that these hostels will be established in Mohali, Jalandhar, Amritsar, and Bathinda districts. Out of these, three hostels will be built in Mohali, and one each in Jalandhar, Amritsar, and Bathinda.
