If you are planning to buy a new car in October, several major automakers are expected to introduce new models in the Indian market. Mercedes-Maybach, Volvo, Audi and Renault are set to bring a mix of luxury sedans, electric SUVs, premium SUVs and hybrid vehicles.

Here are five upcoming cars, along with their expected launch dates and key highlights:

Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Facelift

Launch Date: October 5, 2026

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class facelift is expected to be the first major launch of the month, with the company scheduled to introduce it on October 5. The updated model is expected to receive several changes to its exterior as well as cabin, giving the luxury sedan a refreshed look and updated features.

Volvo EX90

Launch Date: October 12, 2026

Volvo is expected to launch its flagship electric SUV, the EX90, in India on October 12. The model will be offered as a three-row, seven-seater all-electric SUV.

The EX90 is expected to come with a 106 kWh battery and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. This configuration can produce 456 hp of power and 670 Nm of torque. The electric SUV is claimed to offer a range of up to 625 km on a full charge.

New-Generation Audi Q3

Launch Date: October 16, 2026

The third-generation Audi Q3 is expected to arrive in India on October 16. The new Q3 will be around 40 mm longer than its predecessor.

For the Indian market, the SUV is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing around 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is likely to be paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox and Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

Volvo ES90

Launch Date: October 12, 2026

Volvo is also expected to launch its luxury electric sedan, the ES90, alongside the EX90 on October 12.

The ES90 is expected to be offered with 92 kWh and 106 kWh battery options. Depending on the variant, power output is expected to range from 333 hp to 680 hp. The top-spec version could offer a WLTP-certified range of up to 696 km.

Renault Duster Hybrid

Launch Date: October 17, 2026

Renault is also set to introduce the Duster with a hybrid powertrain on October 17. The upcoming Duster Hybrid is expected to feature a 1.8-litre hybrid petrol engine paired with two electric motors.

The hybrid system is expected to produce a combined 160 hp and 172 Nm of torque. It will reportedly feature a 1.4 kWh battery pack and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
