PM Narendra Modi met CM Nayab Singh Saini at his residence in Delhi, to discuss the schemes being implemented in Haryana. The PM had a detailed discussion with the Chief Minister about the 'Agniveers' and the welfare schemes run by both the state and central govts.
After meeting the PM, CM Saini interacted with the journalists at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi. He stated that significant benefits have been decided for Haryana's Agniveers by the state government. These include a 10 percent horizontal reservation in government job recruitment, age relaxation of 5 and 3 years as per rules, and interest-free loans of up to Rs. 5 lakh for employment. The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister is focused on the Agniveer scheme. If any industry in Haryana hires an Agniveer, the state will give that institution a rebate of Rs. 60,000. The Prime Minister carefully listened about the scheme run by the state government for the welfare of Agniveers.
The Chief Minister emphasised that poor people need not worry. The Prime Minister is meticulously gathering feedback on each scheme to ensure benefits reach the last person.
