Prateek Yadav was cremated at Baikunth Dham in Lucknow amid an emotional atmosphere as family members, relatives, and political leaders gathered to pay their last respects. Aparna Yadav’s father and Prateek’s father-in-law, Arvind Singh Bisht, performed the last rites and lit the funeral pyre.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and senior leader Shivpal Singh Yadav were present during the cremation ceremony. Prateek Yadav’s two daughters also attended the final rites.
During the ceremony, Shivpal Singh Yadav was seen consoling the two daughters as family members struggled to cope with the loss. The atmosphere remained deeply emotional as relatives and supporters associated with the Yadav family gathered in large numbers.
Before the funeral procession began, Aparna Yadav broke down in tears while bidding farewell to her husband.
Several leaders from the Uttar Pradesh government also arrived to pay tribute. Ministers Om Prakash Rajbhar and Baby Rani Maurya offered floral tributes, while Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav also paid her respects during the final darshan.
