Pune : Police arrestes the father of teenager involved in a car crash that killed two in Aurangabad

In Pune Porsche crash case' police on Tuesday arrested the father of a 17-year-old teenager who was involved in a car crash that killed two persons in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Earlier, the boy's father, a builder, was detained and taken to Pune.
The father, along with the owners of two restaurants and their employees, were arrested on Monday under relevant parts of the Motor Vehicles Act (MVA) and Juvenile Justice Act (JJA).
The terrible accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning in Pune's Kalyani Nagar district. According to police, the 17-year-old drove a luxurious Porsche that collided with a motorbike, killing Anis Awadhiya and Ashwini Costa. The incident, recorded on CCTV, showed the car going at an estimated 200 kmph on a narrow road.
According to Pune Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, the teenager was celebrating his class 12 results at a local pub when he was seen drinking alcohol before the incident. The legal drinking age in Maharashtra is 25, thus the company cannot serve him. As a result, the pub owners are also facing charges for giving alcohol to minors.
