The Punjab Government has ordered a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting eight IAS and PCS officers with immediate effect on administrative grounds. The orders were issued by the Department of Personnel under the Governor of Punjab.
As per the official notification, the officers have been reassigned to various key departments, including municipal corporations, development authorities, and state boards to streamline administrative functioning.
List of Transferred Officers
Paramjit Singh, IAS (2014) – Posted as Special Secretary, Water Resources Department. He was earlier serving as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala.
Neeru Katyal Gupta, IAS (2016) – Transferred as Special Secretary, General Administration & Coordination Department. She was previously Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana.
Ojasvi, IAS (2020) – Appointed as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, replacing Neeru Katyal Gupta.
Vikas Hira, PCS (2016) – Posted as Additional Chief Administrator, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA), Ludhiana.
Pooja Sayal, PCS (2012) – Appointed as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala, replacing Paramjit Singh.
Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, PCS (2012) – Posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Fatehgarh Sahib.
Kanu Thind, PCS (2014) – Given additional charge as Additional Managing Director, Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation, along with her existing responsibilities.
Amrinder Singh Tiwana, PCS (2014) – Appointed as Secretary, Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB).
Official Order
The government has directed all officers to join their new postings immediately. It also stated that arrangements for vacant posts will be made internally by the concerned authorities until further orders.
The order was issued from Chandigarh on June 13, 2026, by Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha.
