In a late-night administrative reshuffle, the Punjab Government has transferred two Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and four Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs).

According to the official orders, Poonamdeep Kaur has been appointed as the new DC of Sangrur, while Rahul Chaba has been given charge as the DC of Faridkot.

In the police department, major changes have been made at the SSP level. Sartaj Singh Chahal has been shifted from Sangrur and posted as the new SSP of Moga. Ravjot Grewal will take over as the new SSP of Sangrur.

Ajay Gandhi, who was serving as SSP Moga, has been transferred and appointed as AIG Provisioning. Gagan Ajit Singh has been named the new SSP of Fazilka.

In another key change, Gurmeet Singh has been posted as the new SSP of Malerkotla, replacing Gagan Ajit Singh in that role. Meanwhile, Sukhnaz Singh has been shifted to the Vigilance Bureau.

The reshuffle is part of routine administrative adjustments aimed at improving governance and policing efficiency across the state.
