The alleged viral audio clip linked to Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has triggered strong action from the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission, which has taken self-initiated action of the matter over purported objectionable remarks heard in the clip.

The audio allegedly contains controversial comments, including phrases comparing people to “sheep” in exchange for money. Taking serious note of the issue, the Commission has directed the Muktsar SSP to appear personally before it on May 29 at 9 AM.

The action was initiated following a communication sent by Punjab Social Security Minister Baljit Kaur. The Commission has launched an inquiry under Section 10 of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission Act, 2004.

In its notice, the Commission instructed the police to conduct a forensic examination of the audio sample and submit a detailed factual report. It also warned that failure to comply with its directions could lead to the use of powers equivalent to those of a civil court.

Meanwhile, Raja Warring dismissed the audio clip as fake in a post on X. He claimed the clip was fabricated nearly seven years ago and is now being circulated again through the SC Commission to malign his image politically. Warring stated that “even a child can tell the voice is not mine.”

The Punjab Congress chief also accused the ruling AAP government of misusing institutions for political vendetta and warned of legal action against those spreading fake content.
