Punjab Government will organize a state-level religious gathering, "Ek Shaam Bhagwan Shiv Ji Ke Naam," today at the Pytex Grounds in Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar. A large turnout of devotees is expected, with all arrangements for the grand event already completed. Authorities have also put in place special security and traffic management measures to ensure smooth conduct of the program.
The highlight of the evening will be a devotional performance by renowned Shiva bhajan singer Hans Raj Raghuwanshi, who will present some of his most popular hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva. Devotees from across Punjab as well as neighbouring states are expected to gather in large numbers to attend the event.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is scheduled to participate in the religious gathering. Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal is also expected to attend as a special guest. Both leaders are likely to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Lord Shiva during the program.
According to the Punjab Government, the objective of the state-level event is to promote spiritual awareness, social harmony, and cultural values. Organizers have arranged parking facilities, drinking water, medical assistance, and other essential services for the convenience of devotees.
