Rajasthan: BSF jawan dies due to heat stroke on Jaisalmer border

One more person has died due to heatstroke due to the scorching heat in Rajasthan. According to the information, a BSF jawan posted in Jaismeler district on the India-Pakistan border died and now more than two and a half dozen people have lost their lives due to heat wave in Rajasthan. However, the government has not yet released the figures of deaths due to heat wave. The government says that after the death audit it will be decided whether the deaths occurred due to heat stroke or some other reason.

Soldier Ajay Kumar, who became victim of heat wave on Jaisalmer border, was a resident of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. Ajay was posted at Bhanu post on India-Pakistan border. On Sunday, young Ajay's health suddenly deteriorated and he died after some time. Later Ajay's body was brought to Ramgarh Hospital. The post-mortem of the body was conducted on Monday morning. Initially the cause of death is believed to be heat stroke. 

Later BSF officers and soldiers gave guard of honor to Ajay. The body has been sent to Jodhpur. From there they will be sent to their native village. The heat is wreaking havoc in this border area located in western Rajasthan. The temperature in Jaisalmer was recorded at 48.5 degrees on Sunday.
