Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday postponed the hearing on the bail plea of Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora.

Court directed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to submit a detailed status report before making any decision on his request for bail.

ED will present its report on the next date of hearing. After reviewing the report, the court will decide whether Arora should be granted bail or remain in judicial custody.

Arora is currently lodged in Gurugram jail after a special court in Gurugram earlier rejected his bail application.

ED arrested Sanjeev Arora on May 9 this year following a day-long raid at his official residence in Chandigarh. He is facing allegations of corruption and money laundering, which are currently under investigation.
