ShriKhand Mahadev Kailash Yatra, considered one of the most challenging religious pilgrimages in North India, will be held from July 10 to July 23. Online registration for the pilgrimage will open shortly through an official portal.
A meeting of the ShriKhand Yatra Trust was held in Nirmand of Ani subdivision in Kullu district to review preparations and ensure smooth conduct of the yatra. The meeting was chaired via video conferencing by the Trust Chairman and Deputy Commissioner of Kullu.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to complete preparations well before the start of the pilgrimage. Devotees of Lord Shiva from across North India are expected to participate in large numbers for the holy darshan.
SDM Nirmand and Vice President of the ShriKhand Mahadev Yatra Trust, Jagdeep Singh Koundal, informed that different departments will be assigned specific responsibilities during the yatra. Special deployment will be made for medical services, revenue administration, police, forest department, and rescue teams to ensure the safety and smooth management of pilgrims.
