396 cases have been filed by Haryana police

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said that since 2015 till now, a total of 1140 cases of corruption have been registered in the state by the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Haryana and 396 cases have been filed by the Haryana Police Department. Vij was replying to a question put during the winter session in the Haryana Assembly here today.
He said that in the last 5 years, 261 cases were reported and 124 were convicted while 137 were acquitted and the conviction rate is 47.5 percent.
He replied that in olden times, cases were not caught but we have increased the staff, increased resources and the corrupt are being caught.
