Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced that three government schools in the Churah Assembly constituency will be affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The schools selected for CBSE affiliation are located in Himgiri, Thalli and Jhajhakothi. The Chief Minister said the move would provide students in the region with better educational opportunities and access to quality education.

In another major announcement, Sukhu said that around 15,000 women in the Churah region would receive financial assistance of ₹1,500 per month after the state government completes four years in office.

Highlighting the government's efforts to improve administrative efficiency, the Chief Minister said several important steps had been taken to make the system simpler, more transparent and citizen-friendly.

He stated that the mutation process in tehsils had been made online, while several other essential services were also being brought onto digital platforms.

These initiatives would reduce the need for people to repeatedly visit tehsil offices for routine administrative work, allowing them to access various government services from the comfort of their homes, he added.
