A two-and-a-half-year-old boy was killed after being run over by a private school bus in Punjab's Ludhiana district on Wednesday morning. The tragic accident occurred in Shalu village under the Kohara area when the child Samardeep had come outside his house with his mother to see his elder sister off to school.
According to eyewitnesses, the child came under the bus as it arrived to pick up students. Both the front and rear wheels reportedly passed over him, causing fatal injuries. He died on the spot before any medical assistance could be provided.
