Two bills were passed on the third day of the winter session of Haryana Assembly. These MLAs include Haryana Appropriation (No. 5) Bill, 2023 and Haryana Appropriation (No. 6) Bill, 2023.
Haryana Appropriation (No. 5) Bill, 2023
This Act may be called the Haryana Appropriation (No. 5) Act, 2023. The sums to be paid and applied by this Act out of the Consolidated Fund of the State shall be appropriated only for the services and purposes specified in relation to the financial year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 2024.
This Bill seeks to provide for a sum of Rs.1290,07,09,133 from the Consolidated Fund of the State of Haryana to meet the supplementary grants made by the Legislative Assembly for the expenditure for the financial year 2023-24 in pursuance of Articles 204 (1) and 205 of the Constitution of India. It has been passed to provide for the payment and appropriation of the required amount of Rs.
Haryana Appropriation (No. 6) Bill, 2023
This Act may be called the Haryana Appropriation (No. 6) Act, 2023. A total of Rs 238 crore 79 lakh 3 thousand 309 (153,39,29,460 + 21,92,63,603 + 63,47) to meet the excess expenditure during the financial years 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 ,10,246) will be deemed to be approved for payment and utilization from the Consolidated Fund of Haryana State.
