Prime Minister Narendra Modi met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his four-day visit to India, with both leaders holding wide-ranging discussions on strengthening India-US ties.

PM Modi shared pictures from the meeting on social media and said he was pleased to welcome Marco Rubio.

He added that the two sides discussed the continued progress in the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership, along with key regional and global issues related to peace and security.

The Prime Minister emphasized that India and the United States will continue working together for global welfare and stronger bilateral cooperation.

Several important issues were discussed during the high-level meeting. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other senior officials were also present during the talks.

Meanwhile, US Ambassador Sergio Gor also shared photos from the meeting on X, calling the discussions meaningful and productive. He said both countries focused on deepening cooperation in security, trade and critical technology sectors, which continue to strengthen the strategic partnership between India and the United States.
