According to reports, his health deteriorated suddenly on Wednesday morning. He is survived by his wife Aparna Yadav and their two daughters.

Prateek Yadav was the son of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s second wife, Sadhana Gupta, and the stepbrother of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. Born on July 7, 1987, in Lucknow, he largely stayed away from active politics despite belonging to one of Uttar Pradesh’s most influential political families.

After completing his early education in Lucknow, Prateek pursued higher studies in the United Kingdom and earned a degree in Management from the University of Leeds.

Though many expected him to enter politics, Prateek chose a different path and followed his passion for fitness. He established a modern gym in Lucknow, which became popular among fitness enthusiasts and young people. He was also active on social media, frequently sharing workout videos and fitness-related content that inspired many followers.
