Famous rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh on Tuesday shared a special photograph with BJP leader Tarun Chugh on social media, along with a strong message urging Punjab’s youth to abandon drugs and embrace the true identity of Punjab.
A video released from Tarun Chugh’s office showed Honey Singh speaking about the growing drug problem in Punjab, particularly the devastating impact of heroin addiction on families and young people.
In the video, Honey Singh said, “I want to talk to you about the situation in Punjab. Families and youth are being destroyed because of heroin addiction. We are trying to find a way to free Punjab from this menace, and you have already been working extensively in this direction.”
During the interaction, BJP leader Tarun Chugh described Honey Singh as “Punjab’s son” and praised his journey of recovery and comeback. Chugh said that Honey Singh earned fame from Bollywood to Hollywood, faced difficult phases in life, struggled for nearly eight years after going down the wrong path, and eventually returned to become one of the top names in the music industry again.
He added that Honey Singh’s life story serves as a powerful inspiration for young people battling challenges and addiction.
