Punjab Cabinet Minister and state President of the AAP, Aman Arora, on Saturday, said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, has taken a firm stance against drug traffickers, with over 1000 drug peddlers already behind bars and around 700 cases registered across the state as part of the "Yudh Nashian Virudh" drive.

During a meeting with SAS Nagar district authorities to review the progress and actions taken under the drive, Mr. Arora highlighted the positive results achieved so far, including the recovery of over 50 kg heroin, over 5 quintal poppy husk, over 30 kg opium and drug money of over Rs 22 lakhs in just eight days.
