The Punjab government has transferred and appointed many IPS officers on Saturday. These orders have been issued today by ACS Alok Shekhar with immediate effect.
2008 batch IPS officer Nilambari Jagdale has been posted as DIG Counter Intelligence, SAS Nagar. Earlier she was DIG Ludhiana Range.
Kuldeep Chahal, who was looking after DIG Technical Services, has been given the additional charge of DIG, Patiala Range.DIG Border Range, Amritsar Satinder Singh has been posted as DIG Ludhiana while IPS Dr. Nanak Singh, awaiting transfer under promotion, has been posted as DIG Border Range, Amritsar.Gurmeet Singh Chauhan has been posted as DIG AGTF, SAS Nagar. Naveen Saini has been posted as DIG Crime, Dhruv Dahiya, who was returned from central deputation, as AIG Counter Intelligence and D Suddarvizhi appointed as AIG Internal Security.
