The Haryana Government has initiated the process of reconciliation of loan accounts of government employees who have taken loans from Punjab National Bank (PNB) or whose loan accounts were transferred to PNB after the transfer of the loan portfolio. In this regard, a letter has been issued by the Finance Department.
To ensure proper monitoring and coordination of this process, all departments/offices have been directed to nominate a Nodal Officer at the headquarters level. This Nodal Officer will oversee the reconciliation of loan accounts of all borrower employees of the concerned department/office.
In addition, each department/office has been instructed to appoint Nodal Officers at the district level as well. These officers will coordinate the reconciliation of loan accounts in different districts, including those of borrower employees who are working on deputation in other organizations.
The Government has directed that the names and contact details of the nominated Nodal Officers be sent to the Finance Department by January 27 via email at wmafdhry@gmail.com, so that there is no delay in the reconciliation process of loan accounts.
