Key Instructions to Officials
Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi has directed that nodal officers must be appointed in each division to oversee the biometric verification process. These officers will be responsible for coordinating the exercise and ensuring that it is carried out efficiently within the stipulated timeline.
All departments have been instructed to arrange adequate staff and necessary biometric equipment so that the verification process is completed without disruptions. Special emphasis has been placed on proper logistical planning to avoid delays.
Officials are also required to prepare daily reports documenting the number of candidates present and absent during the verification process. These reports will help monitor progress and identify any gaps in attendance.
In addition, separate records must be maintained for cases where biometric data matches successfully and where mismatches occur. This step is crucial to ensure transparency and to address discrepancies effectively.
