In a shocking incident in Panchkula, a man was brutally stabbed to death by his wife’s brother along with two accomplices. The accused fled the scene after the attack, and police have launched a manhunt to apprehend them.
The deceased, identified as Shivam, a resident of Baltana in Punjab, had come to the Abhaypur area around 8:30 AM to drop his mother at a factory. While returning, he was intercepted near the Panchkula border by his wife’s brother, who was accompanied by two friends.
The three accused surrounded Shivam, who was riding a motorcycle, and attacked him with knives. He sustained multiple stab wounds to his chest, back, and head. According to eyewitnesses, the attackers stabbed him several times, leaving him critically injured on the spot.
A friend passing by noticed Shivam in a critical condition and immediately rushed him to the Sector-6 Civil Hospital. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Upon receiving information, police from Sector-19 Police Station reached the scene and initiated an investigation. The body has been sent to the Sector-6 General Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile, Crime Branch teams are scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas and conducting raids to trace and arrest the accused.
