Haryana : RTPCR tests will be conducted for ILI and SARI cases – Vij

Vij held a video conference with the Union Health Minister and Health Ministers of other states.

Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Anil Vij said that in future, the state government will conduct RTPCR test of ILI and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) cases.

Vij today discussed the recent increase in Covid-19 cases in some states of the country and the spread of Covid-19 in the country. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya was speaking in a video conference with health ministers and secretaries of other states on safety measures in view of the detection of the first case of the 1st variant.

While suggesting today, he said that RTPCR test should be mandatory in ILI symptoms and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) cases and Covid- 19 should be declared a notified disease so that if any case comes in private hospitals, they can inform the CMO and government hospitals. .

They have been asked to monitor and report influenza-like illness (ILI) and severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) cases , so that early rising trends of such cases can be detected, he said. He said that the Haryana government has done a mock drill and there is complete preparation in this matter. 238 PSA plants are in operation in Haryana . He said that the state government has alerted the concerned department to fight the said disease.

While talking to the journalists, Health Minister said that today a video conferencing was held with the Union Health Minister and Health Ministers of the states , in which the guidelines regarding ILI symptoms and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) were discussed , after which the state Level meeting has been held and the equipment has been checked.
