The needy will get financial assistance within 15 days of application.
Benefit of up to Rs one lakh available as financial aid

The Haryana government has taken another step towards providing better healthcare services to people by facilitating the application process for financial assistance on medical grounds under the Chief Minister Relief Fund through the SARAL portal. This has made the process much simpler and easier.
Sharing information in this regard here today, an official spokesperson said that now applicants can avail the facility for financial assistance through the SARAL portal. The financial aid received from the CM Relief Fund will be directly transferred to the applicant or beneficiary's bank account.
The spokesperson said that applicants can apply on the portal using their Parivar Pehchan Patra ID. To complete this process, applicants can upload other relevant documents such as their medical bills, OPD bills, etc., and apply for financial assistance based on medical grounds from the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF).
The spokesperson said that under the changes made in the scheme, if any disease is not covered under Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana, then the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana will also get benefits under this scheme. District-level committees have been formed under the Chief Minister Relief Fund for financial assistance, comprising relevant MP, MLA, Deputy Commissioner, Civil Surgeon, Chairman of the Municipal Council and Municipal Corporations, Chairman of the Zilla Parishad, Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti as members, and city magistrate as nodal officer.
The spokesperson said that only 25 percent of the medical expenses will be provided as financial assistance from the Chief Minister Relief Fund, with a maximum limit of Rs one lakh. Apart from this, applicants can only avail of this facility once in a financial year.
