Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini visited the homes of martyred Lance Naik Narendra Singh Sindhu (28) in Roheda village, Kaithal district, and Naik Pankaj Rana (24) in Kalayat on Sunday to pay homage to their supreme sacrifice.
The Chief Minister met with the bereaved family members, consoled them, and offered heartfelt condolences. He also paid floral tributes to the portraits of both soldiers.
Brave soldier Narendra Singh Sindhu was martyred while fighting terrorists in Kulgaon. Despite being critically injured, he neutralized the terrorists, displaying exemplary courage. Naik Pankaj Rana, a dedicated soldier of the Indian Army, passed away on September 9 while undergoing treatment after a road accident. He had served with the 51st Engineering Regiment in the Drass sector of Srinagar for 11 years.
CM said that both soldiers laid down their lives for the nation. He prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed souls and strength to the families to bear this irreparable loss.
