The admission process for the four-year undergraduate (UG) courses - BA Economics Honors and BA Economics Honors with Research - is ongoing in the Economics Department of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana. Online registration for this can be done on the admission portal until June 8.
A university spokesperson stated that the undergraduate course in Economics after the 12th grade offers excellent career prospects. A graduate in Economics can build a career as an economic analyst, in banking and financial institutions, the corporate sector, civil services, Indian Economic Services, academics, and research, among other related fields. In another update, the university's Director of Public Relations, Sunit Mukherjee, informed that for students interested in pursuing a career in creative arts, the Visual Arts Department at Maharshi Dayanand University offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting after the 12th grade, which is a better career option.
He mentioned that there are 30 seats available in the four-year BFA Painting course. An entrance test will be conducted for admission. Details related to the course and the admission process is available on the MDU website. It is noteworthy that after obtaining a BFA Painting degree, there are vast career opportunities in the government sector, private sector, corporate, freelance self-employment, as well as in media, arts education, research, and more.
