Approval Granted to open 26 AYUSH Dispensaries in Haryana: Arti Singh

Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said that AYUSH dispensaries help in building a healthy nation by making India’s traditional health systems safe, affordable and accessible. Keeping this in view, the State Government has decided to open government AYUSH dispensaries across the state. At present, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has approved the opening of 26 more AYUSH dispensaries in five districts, and soon, after mapping, these dispensaries will also be opened in the remaining districts.

The Health Minister stated that the State Government is continuously working to provide affordable and accessible treatment to the people of the state, and hospitals are being opened as per requirement along with the provision of low-cost medicines. She informed that government AYUSH dispensaries will be opened in 5 villages of Rewari district — Lisan, Karwara Manakpur, Rohdai, Jaisinghpura, Jhabuwa; 6 villages of Mahendragarh district — Surjanwas, Gudha, Buchawas, Bawania, Rambas, Rasoolpur; 1 village of Karnal district — Fafdana; 4 villages of Kurukshetra district — Ajrana Kalan, Kalsa, Nalvi, Mohri; and 10 villages of Yamunanagar district — Mahiyuddinpur, Ratangarh, Bhangra, Takpur, Khurdaban, Tajewala, Hadauli, Ledi, Kot Baswa Singh and village Darpur.

Arti Singh Rao said that the Haryana Government is promoting the AYUSH system in the state. AYUSH services are being strengthened, and an AYUSH University is being established in Kurukshetra. She added that the State Government is committed to improving the health of the people of Haryana.
