Today is a significant day for millions of farmers across India as the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme is set to be released. More than 9.44 crore eligible farmers will receive ₹2,000 each directly into their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 23rd installment during an official event scheduled for 3:45 PM, with the amount expected to start reaching beneficiaries' accounts thereafter. The government will transfer nearly ₹18,880 crore under this installment.
How to Check Whether You Will Receive the 23rd Installment
Farmers can verify their beneficiary status by visiting the official PM-KISAN portal. Click on "Beneficiary List", select your State, District, Block, and Village, and then click "Get Report" to check your name in the list. Farmers should also ensure that their e-KYC, Aadhaar linkage, and bank details are updated to avoid payment delays.
Where Was the Previous Installment Released?
The 22nd installment of the PM-KISAN scheme was released from Guwahati, Assam, where Prime Minister Modi addressed a public gathering before transferring the funds to beneficiaries.
