Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President will arrive in Punjab on June 20 for a three-day visit, during which he will participate in religious, public, and organizational programmes across the state.

The leader will begin the tour in Amritsar, where he is scheduled to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple before attending other engagements in the city.

On June 21, coinciding with International Yoga Day, he will join Border Security Force (BSF) personnel for a yoga session at the Attari Border. Later, he will travel via Jalandhar to Ludhiana, where he will stay on June 21 and 22.

During his stay in Ludhiana, the BJP chief will hold key organizational meetings with party leaders and workers to discuss preparations and strategy for the upcoming elections in Punjab.

Meanwhile, the Punjab BJP has begun extensive preparations for the visit. A meeting of senior BJP leaders was held in Ludhiana on Thursday, where responsibilities for various arrangements were assigned to party functionaries.

The meeting was chaired by district president Rajneesh Dhiman and attended by state organization secretary Srinivasulu, state general secretary Anil Sareen, state vice-president Jatinder Mittal, and state treasurer Gurdev Sharma Debi.

State organization secretary Srinivasulu said that party workers across Punjab are highly enthusiastic about the National President's first visit to the state. He added that grand welcomes are being planned in Amritsar, Jalandhar, and Ludhiana, with workers from all districts assigned specific responsibilities for the event.
