Cyber fraud and sextortion are major threats to youth: DIG Nazneen Bhasin

Chandigarh - On the second day of the two-day conference organised in Faridabad to mark the 25th anniversary of the Haryana State Commission for Women leaders and transgender activists shared their thoughts.

On this occasion, Honorary General Secretary, Haryana State Council for Child Welfare. Ranjeeta Mehta said that we should always treat children with kindness, so that they can grow up in the right direction in life. She also highlighted the importance of sex education, so that children are aware and can understand the changes happening in their bodies over time. She stated that childless couples can adopt orphaned children through their Council, allowing children to receive a good education and become a part of the country's progress.

DIG, Nazneen Bhasin stated that the era of social media influencers is currently underway. Young people should concentrate on a single goal and should be protected from crimes such as cyber fraud and sextortion.

During the programme, Dhananjay Chauhan on highlighting the importance of equality requested the government to make special provisions for transgenders in jobs so that transgenders can also achieve their goals.

Similarly, mountaineer (Everester) Anita Kundu said that humans move forward with their thoughts. With the power of thoughts, we can achieve anything. She stated that mothers and women play crucial roles in society and by empowering women, we can help society to move forward. 

Brahma Kumari, Dr. Binny Sareen, stated that self-empowerment is essential for women and youth empowerment. For self-empowerment, we must connect with our culture.
