61 Projects worth Rs. 58.73 crore given nod under head JJM-WQM&S

Haryana CM Nayab Singh has approved new projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) - Support Activities and Water Quality Monitoring and Surveillance (WQM&S) for the financial year 2024-25. 61 Projects worth Rs. 58.73 crore given nod under head JJM-WQM&S here today.
Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson stated that for the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission in the year 2024-25, the state of Haryana has been notionally allocated an amount of Rs. 462.03 crore by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India. An amount of upto 5% and upto 2% of the aforesaid amount will be utilised for the support and WQM&S activities respectively.
The spokesperson informed that as per the proposal 1, 23 projects for support activities were given clearance comprising of 20 divisions which include IEC activies, Community Involvement, Training & Establishment including last year liabilities etc. in Ambala District with estimated cost of Rs. 92.06 Lakhs, Bhiwani Rs. 1.49 crore, Charkhi Dadri, Rs. 87.21 Lakhs, Faridabad Rs. 62.01 Lakhs, Fatehabad Rs. 1.31 crore, Gurugram Rs. 91.92 Lakhs, Hisar Rs. 1.58 crore, Jhajjar Rs. 1.37 crore, Kaithal Rs. 1.50 crore, Karnal Rs. 1.97 crore, Kurukshetra Rs. 93.41 Lakhs, Panipat Rs. 1.32 crore, Palwal Rs. 1.46 crore, Panchkula Rs. 11.39 crore, Rewari Rs. 1.33 crore, Rohtak Rs. 97.17 Lakhs, Sonepat Rs. 1.71 crore Sirsa Rs. 1.13 crore, Mohindergarh Rs. 1.63 crore, Nuh Rs. 1.55 crore, Yamunanagar Rs. 1.09 crore.
He further informed that as per the proposal 2 which got clearance under Water Quality Monitoring and Surveillance (WQM&S) head comprised of 38 projects which include Strengthening of Water Testing Labs at District / Sub. District Labs, Consumable for labs, Water Quality Testing with FTKS & FTKS Distributions, Trainings of GRWs on Water Quality & Establishment cost etc. in Ambala with an estimated cost of Rs. 45.50 Lakhs, Bhiwani Rs. 40.19 Lakhs, Charkhi Dadri Rs. 39.46 Lakhs, Faridabad Rs. 39.28 Lakhs, Fatehabad Rs. 40.09 Lakhs, Hisar Rs. 40.21 Lakhs, Jhajjar Rs. 39.94 Lakhs, Jind Rs. 40.21 Lakhs, Kaithal Rs. 40.06 Lakhs, Karnal Rs. 5.41 crore, Kurukshetra Rs. 51.01 Lakhs, Panipat Rs. 39.61 Lakhs, Panchkula Rs. 44.91 Lakhs, Gurugram Rs. 39.67 Lakhs, Nuh Rs. 51.09 Lakhs, Palwal Rs. 45.51 Lakhs Rewari Rs. 40.39 Lakhs, Rohtak Rs. 44.38 Lakhs, Sirsa Rs. 40.30 Lakhs and other such 18 projects.
