Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has expressed his desire to step down from the post of Aam Aadmi Party President. In Chabbewal of Hoshiapur, he said that along with the post of CM, he has been holding the responsibility of the post of President for seven years. But now he wants the party to get a new president who can give his full time.
Mann said that he will inform the party high command about this. In such a situation, speculations are being made that an announcement regarding this may be made soon. Mann told that along with the post of CM, he is handling the responsibility of 13-14 departments. In such a situation, he wants him to take over the responsibility of the post of CM.He said that he will continue working as a volunteer. However, as to who he wants to see on the post of President, he said that the party will take a decision in this regard. He told that in 2023, Prof. Buddha Ram was made the acting president.
