Ensure fair, transparent conduct of examination across Haryana, directs CM

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, on Wednesday, chaired a high-level review meeting to review preparedness for the Class 10 and 12 examinations conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education.
The meeting, held via video conference, was attended by Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police from across the state, along with Chairman of the Board, Dr. Pawan Kumar and senior administrative officers. Education Minister, Mahipal Dhanda also remained present during the meeting.
The Chief Minister issued clear directives to ensure that examinations are conducted in a peaceful, transparent and strictly malpractice-free manner throughout the state. He emphasized the need for robust arrangements at every examination centre and called for adequate deployment of police personnel to strengthen security.
The Chief Minister directed heightened security measures in the centres identified as sensitive and highly sensitive. district administrations to exercise heightened vigilance. He asked senior officers to carry out regular inspections and ensure immediate action against any irregularities.
Underscoring the importance of community participation, the Chief Minister advised district authorities to seek cooperation from local sarpanches and members of gram sabhas to reinforce fairness and discipline during the examination process. He said that collective responsibility and coordinated efforts among officials are essential, as the examinations are directly linked to the academic future of thousands of students.
