CM digitally releases Rs. 2,100 each to 5,22,162 eligible women beneficiaries of ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana

A Special Gift for Women on Haryana Day

On the occasion of Haryana Day, women across the state received a significant gift aimed at promoting self-reliance and economic empowerment. CM Nayab Singh Saini on Friday released Rs. 2,100 each to 5,22,162 eligible women beneficiaries under the ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana’. These women beneficiaries received a benefit of Rs. 109 crore 65 lakh 40 thoudand 200.

This step toward women’s empowerment is not merely a government scheme, it is a shining example of the transparent policy and honest intent of the double-engine government committed to social transformation.

While addressing the media persons  during a press conference, the Chief Minister said that the ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi’ mobile app was launched on September 25, marking the 109th birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya. Till midnight of October 31, 2025, a total of 6,97,697 women had successfully applied through the app- 6,51,529 married and 46,168 unmarried.

Remarkably, within just 24 hours between midnight of October 30 and October 31, around 37,735 new applications were received, showing the growing popularity and wide public acceptance of the scheme.

 Explaining the eligibility criteria, the Chief Minister said that women aged 23 years or above, belonging to families with an annual income below Rs. 1 lakh, can avail the benefit. A unique feature of the scheme is that all eligible women within a household can apply. The entire application process is transparent, simple, and fully online. Women can submit their forms anytime and from anywhere through the Lado Lakshmi mobile app.

 He said that once the application is submitted, the verification process is completed within 24 to 48 hours. Eligible applicants receive an SMS notification requesting them to re-login and upload a live photograph on the app. This triggers instant e-KYC verification through the Aadhaar database, after which the SEWA Department issues a ID for the beneficiary.

As of midnight on October 31, out of the 6,97,697 total applicants, 5,22,162 women were verified as eligible and sent congratulatory SMS messages. Among these, 3,96,983 women had already completed the Aadhaar KYC process, while 1,75,179 were still pending verification at that stage. Today, financial assistance of Rs. 2,100 each was directly transferred to the bank accounts of all 5,22,162 eligible women beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister urged those whose Aadhaar KYC process remains incomplete to finish it at the earliest, assuring that the amount will be credited immediately upon completion.
