Financial assistance of Rs. 131.24 crore transferred to accounts of 3,527 beneficiaries under DAYALU Yojana

Haryana CM Nayab Singh said that the Center and State's double-engine government is continuously working to empower the poor, farmers, laborers, women, and youth. Under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, various welfare schemes are being implemented for all sections of society, which has increased public trust in our government. If anyone thinks about the welfare of the poor, farmers, and marginalized sections of society, it is Modi, said Singh.
In a programme held today in Bhiwani district, the CM reiterated his government’s commitment to farmer welfare by disbursing a compensation amount of Rs. 135 crore for damaged crops in Rabi-2024 directly into the accounts of over 54,000 farmers across the state through the e-Fasal Kshatipurti Portal. Besides this, under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana (DAYALU), he also released financial assistance of Rs.131.24 crore into the accounts of 3,527 eligible beneficiaries, he said.
Nayab Singh mentioned that the present state government is continuously working to strengthen the poor through various schemes. Over the last 10 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana has been running to ensure the security and empowerment of farmers.
The CM while highlighting significant differences between the previous government's tenure and ours said that in 10 years, the Congress government gave only Rs. 1,100 crore as crop damage compensation to Haryana's farmers, while our double-engine government has given Rs.12,500 crore in the last 9.5 years.

Opposition spread misinformation about MSP, central government continuously increased MSP
Nayab Singh said that the opposition spread misinformation claiming that this government is anti-farmer and would abolish MSP. However, just two days ago, the central government increased the MSP of crops to benefit farmers. In Haryana, the double-engine government also buys 14 crops at MSP, he said.

We will work with Prime Minister's vision of a developed India by 2047, Kiran Choudhry
At the event, Tosham MLA Kiran Choudhry said that the BJP has introduced the Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana for the poor and needy. Under this scheme, Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh has benefitted such eligible families in the state. It is a very beneficial scheme, she said. She said that PM Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047 guides our work.
