Remarks of Raja Warring and Partap Bajwa shows Mentality of Congress's Leaders, They are Anti-Dalit: Mann

Punjab Newsline, Tarn Taran-

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday campaigned for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu in Panjwad, Thathi Sohal, and Jhabal Kalan, drawing massive crowds and enthusiastic public response. During his address, Mann launched a scathing attack on the Akali Dal, Congress, and their leadership, saying both parties have looted Punjab for decades while AAP is working tirelessly to restore the state’s dignity and prosperity.

Mann said, “The Congress’s hand is soaked in blood, and the Akalis sold Punjab’s soul for their own greed. We bought the GVK thermal plant and renamed it after Guru Amardas Ji, they sold Punjab’s assets, and we are reclaiming them with pride.” Taking direct aim at Sukhbir Badal, Bikram Majithia, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, and Partap Singh Bajwa, Mann said these leaders have no moral right to talk about Punjab’s welfare. “Ask Bajwa about his party’s candidate — what his father was doing and how he died,” Mann remarked.

Continuing his attack on the Akalis, Mann said, “Harsimrat Kaur Badal comes out only during elections to perform political theatrics. During their regime, no one knew what ‘chitta’ was, she herself once said so. But the truth is, back then ‘chitta’ was known by another name — Majithia.”

Highlighting his government’s achievements, Mann said the AAP government has given 58,962 government jobs to youth without any bribe or recommendation. He added that teachers are being sent for international training to improve Punjab’s education system, and farmers are now getting daylight electricity for their crops. “In almost four years of our government, no one can accuse Bhagwant Mann of even a single penny of corruption,” the Chief Minister said.

Taking on Sukhbir Badal’s claim that “Badal Sahib did everything,” Mann said, “Then tell the people what you did in Bargari, Behbal Kalan, and Kotkapura?” Mann said those responsible for sacrilege and firing incidents are now trying to hide behind false promises, but the people of Punjab have not forgotten.

Mann said that Akalis and Congress leaders are unnerved today because for the first time, Punjab’s Chief Minister, ministers, and MLAs come from ordinary families. “They cannot digest that the son of a teacher, the child of a common family, is running Punjab honestly and efficiently,” he said. Quoting Sant Ram Udasi, Mann said, “We are the people who worry about workers, labourers, and the common people, not about mansions and money.”

Reaffirming AAP’s commitment to development and clean politics, Mann urged the people to vote for AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu, describing him as a sincere, grounded leader dedicated to public service. “Harmeet Sandhu represents the honest, people-first politics of the Aam Aadmi Party. Tarn Taran’s future will be secure in his hands,” Mann said, appealing to voters to ensure his victory with a historic margin.
