CM makes pivotal announcements for Haryana&39;s OBC Community

Annual income limit for creamy layer raised from Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 8 lakh, providing significant benefits in employment for the OBC category
Backlog of Backward Class-A and B vacancies will be filled on priority basis, Special recruitment drive to be launched, announces CM

With the key aim of ensuring the welfare of the OBC community in Haryana and providing substantial benefits to the youth in government jobs, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh today made a series of pivotal announcements at OBC Morcha Sarv Samaj Samrasta Sammelan held in Gurugram.
While, speaking as the Chief Guest at the Sammelan, the Chief Minister announced that the annual income limit for creamy layer which currently is Rs. 6 lakh has now been increased to Rs. 8 lakh, similar to the centre government, providing significant benefits in employment for the OBC community.
He said that following the consideration of the Haryana State Backward Classes Commission, this increased limit will be implemented in state government jobs. Besides this, similar to the central government, income from salary and agriculture sources will not be included in this limit, said Nayab Singh.

Meanwhile, the announcement is set to benefit lakhs of people belonging to the OBC community.

Besides this, the backlog of vacancies for Backward Class ingroup-A and B will be filled on a priority basis, with preparations underway for a special recruitment drive, he said.

the central government has taken significant steps towards the overall development of not only the OBC community but also the country's backward areas by declaring them aspirational districts, with Nuh district in Haryana included in the central government's aspirational plan, where continuous development schemes are being provided.
