Dal Khalsa has gave a call for Amritssr Bandh on June 6

AMRITSAR: Dal Khalsa has gave a call for Amritssr Bandh on June 6 in memory of those who were killed in operation blue star in June 1984.

Talking to media persons here today Spokesperson of Dal Khalsa Bhai Kanwarpal Singh Bittu said that Dal Khalsa has also decided to organise a march in Amritsar on June 5.

Kanwarpal Singh Bittu said that the attack on Golden Temple by the Government of India in June 1984 can never be forgotten nor can it be forgiven. That is why every year this day observed as Shaheed Day.

This time the March In which many Sikh organizations including Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar will participate, he said.
He said that the governments of India have always oppressed the Sikhs and the governments of independent India have committed genocide against the Sikhs. He said that in the country where Sikhs had made the greatest sacrifices for the liberation of the country, the Sikhs had been genocide in the same country.

The police has elaborate security arrangements and laid nakas at different points in the city. The plain cloths police men have been deployed in parikarma of Golden Temple.
