Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today extended his heartiest greetings to the people of Himachal Pradesh on the auspicious occasion of the State’s 56th Statehood Day.
Reflecting on the state's journey since January 25, 1971, the Deputy CM paid rich tributes to the visionaries and the hardworking citizens who transformed Himachal into a role model of development for hill states across the country.
In his message, Agnihotri highlighted the immense progress the state has made in various sectors, particularly in infrastructure, education and social welfare. He emphasized that the grit and resilience of the Himachali people have been the driving force behind the state’s transition from a modest beginning to a modern, vibrant economy. He noted that Statehood Day serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility to preserve the state’s unique cultural heritage while striving for future innovations.
