The UT Police has arrested former Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Jasjit Singh Banni for allegedly brandishing a revolver in the market of Sector 8 late on Wednesday night. However, the police say that there was no bullet in the revolver. Bunny has been arrested under relevant sections of the Arms Act. Bunny is the son of former Punjab cabinet minister Captain Kanwaljit Singh.
