CM Nayab Singh Saini has given approval for 21 projects under Rural Augmentation Programme in 4 Districts namely Nuh, Jhajjar, Palwal and Mahendragarh.
Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson stated that the approved project majorly include laying of a 100mm D.I. pipeline and the provision of functional household tap connections in Village Dulhera, Jhajjar district at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.02 lakh, Comprehensive water supply enhancement project which includes laying a bypass pipeline and constructing essential infrastructure such as a boundary wall and toilet facilities in Salamba, Nuh district at an estimated cost of Rs. 33.13 lakh.
The spokesperson stated that the approval also covers Palwal district, where several villages will benefit from the installation of solar power plants on the ground at existing 2.50 MLD Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), specifically in Aurangabad, Bhiduki, Deeghot, Sondhad and Khambi villages at an estimated cost Rs. 1.20 crore each. Improvement of water supply schemes in Farzanpur Khedla at an estimated cost of Rs. 80.04 lakh, he added.
