New Course MSc Medical Physics to Benefit Students from the Upcoming Academic Session

To foster cooperation in education, healthcare, and research, Gurugram University (GU), Gurugram, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the prestigious Advanced Super Multi-Specialty Park Hospital. The Vice-Chancellor of Gurugram University, Prof. Dinesh Kumar, stated that this MOU would open new avenues for progress between the two institutions. Under this agreement, students enrolling in the MSc Medical Physics course, starting from the new academic session 2024-25 at Gurugram University, will have the opportunity to undertake a one-year internship at Park Hospital. Experts from both institutions will guide the students.
He mentioned that the selection of students for the internship will be based on the set criteria. The MSc Medical Physics course offered by GU will be conducted in accordance with the National Education Policy 2020. Under this agreement, Park Hospital will provide a well-equipped radiotherapy centre with experienced medical physicists for the smooth operation of the mandatory one-year internship program for GU students, in line with the latest guidelines of the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).
