Chief Minister announces projects worth crores at Hansi Vikas Rally

Giving fresh momentum to the all-round development of the Hansi region, Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday announced a series of major initiatives related to infrastructure, healthcare, basic amenities, roads and irrigation. Addressing a Vikas rally in Hansi, the Chief Minister announced that the existing 50-bed hospital in Hansi will be upgraded to a 100-bed facility. In addition, a special grant of Rs. 5 crore was announced exclusively for the development of Hansi.
The Chief Minister said that a permanent drainage system will be constructed at the Hansi bus stand to ensure proper disposal of rainwater. He also announced the construction of an STP and WTP in Sector-5, Hansi. For irrigation of agricultural land in the Sultanpur area, a new distributary will be constructed from the OP Jindal Minor. The water works of Kumbha–Thurana will be connected to the Bhakra Branch to prevent drinking water shortages. He further stated that NHAI will be requested to provide a service road on the Hansi–Bhiwani stretch in Dhana Kalan and Dhana Khurd.
The Chief Minister announced that a modern police line with residential facilities for police personnel and officers will be developed in Hansi in a phased manner, and the foundation stone of its boundary wall has already been laid. He also announced the construction of a sports stadium subject to availability of land and beautification of Amti Lake.
He shared that roads under the PWD in Hansi will be repaired as per requirement. In addition, four roads with a total length of 10.5 km will be constructed at a cost exceeding Rs. 6 crore. He also announced repairs of 33 roads under the Marketing Board through the DLP. Furthermore, about 25 km of unpaved farm paths in the Hansi area will be converted into paved roads.
Inauguration and Foundation Laying of Projects
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of three development projects worth Rs. 77.30 crore. These include the foundation laying of a water management project worth Rs. 61.44 crore from Barwala Branch to Hansi city, the inauguration of a newly constructed 33 kV power substation in Dhandheri village built at a cost of Rs. 7.42 crore, and the inauguration of a power substation of similar capacity constructed in Lohari Ragho village at a cost of Rs. 8.44 crore.
