Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all citizens of the state on the auspicious occasions of Diwali, Govardhan Puja, Vishwakarma Day, and Bhai Dooj. He also expressed sincere gratitude to the people of Haryana for their trust and cooperation as the present government completes one year of its third term.
In his message, Saini said that Diwali, the festival of lights, symbolizes prosperity, harmony, and enlightenment. He said that festivals are an integral part of our culture, inspiring love, unity, and mutual cooperation among people. He said Govardhan Puja, reminds us of our gratitude towards nature and the importance of environmental conservation. Vishwakarma Day is an occasion to honor the invaluable contribution of artisans, craftsmen, and workers who form the foundation of the state’s progress. The festival of Bhai Dooj, further strengthens the sacred bond between brothers and sisters, which is a matter of pride in our cultural heritage, he added.
The Chief Minister said that during the first year of its third term, the Haryana Government has taken several historic steps for public welfare, inclusive development, and good governance. Various schemes launched for the welfare of farmers, youth, women, senior citizens, and underprivileged sections of society have brought about positive changes in the lives of lakhs of people. He said these achievements have been made possible due to the unwavering support and cooperation of the people of Haryana.
The Chief Minister appealed to the citizens to celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly manner, remain conscious of the environment, and fulfill their responsibility towards cleanliness. The Chief Minister also wished for happiness, peace, prosperity, and good health for all citizens of the state.
