BJP has suffered a big setback in Haryana in the Lok Sabha elections. BJP, which had won all 10 seats in the last Lok Sabha elections, had to be satisfied with only five seats this time. Congress has won five seats. Deependra Hooda has achieved the biggest victory from Rohtak. He defeated BJP candidate Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma by 3,42,834 votes.

From Ambala, Congress's Varun Chaudhary defeated BJP's Banto Kataria, from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, BJP's Dharambir Singh defeated Congress's Rao Dan Singh, from Faridabad, BJP's Krishnapal Gurjar defeated Congress's Mahendra Pratap, from Gurugram BJP's Rao Inderjit Singh defeated Raj Babbar of Congress, Jaiprakash JP of Congress defeated Ranjit Singh Chautala of BJP from Hisar, Manohar Lal Khattar of BJP defeated Divyanshu Budhiraja of Congress from Karnal.
From Kurukshetra, BJP's Naveen Jindal defeated AAP's Dr. Sushil Gupta. From Sirsa, Congress's Kumari Selja defeated BJP's Dr. Ashok Tanwar, while from Sonipat, Congress's Satpal Brahmachari defeated Mohan Lal Badoli of BJP.
