Govt is committed to strengthen health infrastructure in rural areas: Health Minister

The Haryana Health Department, under the visionary leadership of Health and Family Welfare Minister Arti Singh Rao, has taken a major step to strengthen healthcare services in rural areas by approving the establishment of a Sub-Health Centre in Khori village, Rewari district. The proposal has received formal approval from CM Nayab Singh Saini.
Health Minister emphasized that the government is committed to strengthening the health infrastructure of the state and prioritizing the needs of every citizen. She thanked CM Nayab Singh Saini for his prompt approval and support, which has paved the way for timely execution of this much-needed project.
The upcoming Sub-Health Centre will provide vital services such as immunization, basic medical treatment and preventive care along with health awareness campaigns. This initiative is part of the state’s ongoing efforts to ensure equitable access to healthcare, especially in rural areas of Haryana.
This move is aligned with the government’s broader vision of ‘Swasth Haryana’, and reflects a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life in rural areas.
The villagers of Khori had long been requesting the establishment of a health facility in their area to cater to their primary medical needs. They had also met Health Minister a few months ago on this issue. Responding with urgency and empathy, the Minister took immediate action and ensured that the proposal was swiftly approved. With this long-standing demand now fulfilled, thousands of residents will benefit from easier access to essential healthcare services closer to home.
The Health Department has also assured adequate staff and resources to ensure the centre functions effectively from the beginning.
